Three years in less than three hundred words

Wow I actually can't quite believe my last blog post was almost a whole three years ago in January 2020

It's a bit of an understatement to say that a lot has happened since then, for everybody I'm sure!

When I first started off my Instagram back in 2016 the intention was purely for me to document the different meals I was making after turning vegan from being a vegetarian most of my life previously

I started blogging about the beautiful food I was eating elsewhere, along with the cruelty free products I was using: whilst working my way up in kitchens, from sous chef to head chef and then to bringing That Veggie Place to life in 2019

Hitting the ground running hard with markets, events, collaborations and kitchen takeovers three, sometimes four times a week.

Whilst also being busy baking every other day/evening that I didn't have an event to feed the hungry vegan masses around Ormskirk, Southport, Skelmersdale, Scarisbrick, Liverpool and everywhere in between!

Obviously the pandemic struck us and a change of routine was needed so online deliveries became the norm and kept me so busy during such an uncertain time to which I'll be forever thankful

I've loved (almost!) every second of it but one thing I've taken from the last few years is to go with the flow, not burn the candle at both ends and I'm looking forward to going back to basics and being creative/experimenting again when the urge takes ahold

Thank you all again for the wild ride we have all shared and forever friends I've made
