All Bar One - Manchester

I can’t believe my boyfriend has recently turned 27. I will always think of us as being 19 (me) and 21 (him) which were the ages we were when we started going out. Time flies when you are having fun!  

We decided to do a spot of shopping in the Trafford Centre in Manchester then wanted a bite to eat. I fancied eating tacos (what a surprise) whereas he wanted a burger and after perusing every menu in the food court we chose All Bar One as our lunchtime venue. 

Luckily for me they had tacos on the tapas menu and they were absolutely gorgeous. Not quite up to Charlys Taco bar standard but I doubt any taco ever will be for me. However they were lovely, the vegan chilli was tasty and the turtle bean and pineapple salsa was a welcome accompaniment.

I also ordered from the tapas menu the crushed avocado bruschetta with tomato salsa. The bruschettas were delicately soft in the centre yet crusty enough to hold and support the topping. The salsa was rich and packed a punch, working perfectly by adding some texture to the dish. 

The last time I ate at All Bar One was years ago back when I was still only veggie and the menu then was quite limited. It was a lovely surprise to see many vegan options and I’d definitely go back in future xo
