Vegan Life @ Event City Manchester
The only exhibition centres I’ve been to previously have been college or work based. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed both the clothes show for textiles, and the flooring shows for my previous job role, but to be somewhere surrounded by likeminded people, good food and cruelty free wares was an absolute delight.

There certainly was a mixture of things to see and do. From live free yoga workshops and massages to aura readings and chakra balancing there was a little something for every spiritual minded person.

The whole centre was alive with smells of mouthwatering food, vapor oils, salts and essential oils. I spotted doterra there with their amazing oils, I previously had an iTOVi reading with them and felt a lot more aware of myself because of it.

The hardest part of any vegan event is narrowing down where to eat. My boyfriend was craving nachos so we hit up a lovely stall called Eat Shoots & Leaves. The chickpea chilli was so simple yet gorgeous and I will definitely be having a go at recreating the recipe in future.

As much as I love fruit and veg I’m also a sucker for crisps and chocolate so made sure we had a stock up at Newcastle Alternative Stores.

So many stalls/talks/things to get involved with. I saw Wagamama, om yoga show, cats protection, sea shepherd, mind body and soul experience, dogs trust, cb sushi, juice junkiez, I could go on and on.

Here are some of the items I took away with me. The Greek vegan deli stall (from where I bought this tofu sausage pastry) was so yummy-looking and eye catching I seriously could have tried one of everything.

I would recommend the Vegan Life show to anybody and am already looking forward to 2019 xox
